ONLINE REGISTRATION IS HERE!

To Access Your account information:

If you sent a paper registration WITH AN EMAIL ADDRESS, you can access your account information by clicking the "Account Login" button on our homepage (or see the email you received), and follow the links "I dont know my password". You will get a password in your email to login.

If you didn't send an email address with your registration, you will be receiving a welcome letter in the mail with a section to send back with your email address. We will then put that email into the system and you will get instructions emailed to you.

 

Online Registration FAQ

What advantages are there to Online Registration?

Online Registration will allow you to quickly and conveniently register your child for Summer Camp. You will know what sessions are available, what options are available, be able to pay online, and receive INSTANT confirmation. You will no longer have to spend money on stamps and envelopes!

What costs are involved with the new system?

For the 2008 Summer Season, you will not see any new costs from the advertised prices of Camp Shaw, whether you register online or by paper!

Starting in 2009, the cost of the online registration system will be built into the registration fees. We will also be adding a processing fee for all Paper Registrations for Summer 2009.

What information is kept on the online system? And how do I know its safe?

Camp Register will store all registration information on secure, backed-up servers, using industry-standard practices of internet security. View their privacy policy here. You will be able to logon to your account and view past payments and update any information that requires a change.

Are there any extra features of the Online System that I can use?

YES! The Camp Register system includes a feature called "E-Camp." E-Camp is a system that allows parents to view and purchase photos of camp - The photos will be uploaded every night during their child's camp session, so parents will be able to see and purchase photos of their children at camp every day!

E-Camp also allows parents to send "One-Way Emails." From the E-Camp system, you could send a message to Camp that would be delivered to your child on paper at their next Lunch. The child can then write a response on that paper, give it back to their counselor, and the message would be sent back to your email as a picture of their handwritten message! (Campers will not have access to computers during their stay at camp - they are only able to write on the sheet we give them.) No longer will you have to send a letter through the post office days before your kids are even at camp!

These E-Camp features are priced according to Camp Register's pricing structure. You would add an amount to your account (for example, $10) and that amount would get you a certain amount of picture purchases and one-way emails. The E-Camp system is provided as a service to Parents and is entirely OPTIONAL.

I already registered for 2008 Summer Camp! How do I get my information onto the online system!?

Before the online system is available to the public, Screech, the Asst. Camp Director will spend many hours typing registrations that have already been received into the system.

If you put an email address on the registration form, you will receive an email from him giving you further instructions. If you did not put an email address on the form, you will receive a letter in the mail outlining the online system, and giving you instructions on how to access your information.

If you have already received a confirmation letter in the mail, you are guaranteed a space in that camp session. Please bear with us through the transition phase, and if you notice any errors, please email Screech at webmaster@campshaw.org

Wheres my Confirmation Letter!?

The online registration system is in the final stages of testing! Any registration form received after April 16th has not been entered yet, but will be entered into the new system once it is up and running. So if you have sent in a registration form, but haven't received anything back from us, DONT WORRY! You will receive confirmation as soon as we have the new system running!

If you put an email address on the back (or the second page) of your registration form, you will get an email confirmation letter through that email address. If you did not put an email address, you will be receiving a letter in the mail. We will not be sending letters through the mail if e-mail is available. If you would like to add an email address to your child's registration form, please call 815-933-3011.
