VOLUNTEER COUNSELORS (VC’s)
The volunteer counselor position is a great chance for those who have successfully completed the Counselor in Training programs and are at least 16 years of age to gain valuable leadership skills and work with children. You may also help out at camp as a volunteer counselor if you are a least 18 years of age and have not completed the Counselor in Training course. Volunteer counselors are teamed with other summer staff and together they supervise cabins and help facilitate program areas. Becoming a volunteer is not only a rewarding experience, you will also be making a difference in a child's life and help keep costs low at Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See!
