This year at Camp Shaw, we are offering several new and unique opportunities for area school groups to explore relationships with themselves, each other and nature. They then will have the tools to form their own opinions about the world around them.
Our activities are geared towards hands-on, interactive learning that develops problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Students have the opportunity to hike while learning about the special ecosystem located here at Camp Shaw in our new SOLAR Center (Shaw-Waw-Nas-See Outdoor Learning And Recreation)
EAGLS is our new program that brings horses and people of all ages and abiliites together proving that age old adage that "what is on the outside of a horse is good for the inside of a person.
Students will learn how to challenge themselves and each other on our BLITZ Course while learning how to work as a team to accomplish a common goal.

Grounds Use Fee (Per Person): $4/Quarter
Toilets, Trails, recreation equipment, parking lot, & game fields |
Dining Hall/Kitchen: $100/Quarter
Dining hall accommodates 250 at tables & benches. Toilets & Fireplace. For Conference or combination conference/dining. Kitchen houses ovens, walk-in refrigeration, range, dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils Do your own cooking or let us cook for your group of over 50 people. |
Rustic Cabins: $20 each/Quarter
Cabins house 10 each, totaling 220 beds. Plains area has 14 cabins to accomodate 140. Woodlands area has 8 cabins to accommodate 80. Both areas have toilet/shower facilities with hot water & Flush toilets. |
Deluxe Cabins: $40 each/Quarter
Two heated cabins each accommodating 10 people in bunk beds. Bathroom in each cabin. Year round availability. |
Graham Hall (winter use): $55/Quarter
Modern kitchen/dining area, lounge/conference room with fireplace, 2 bedrooms, 5 beds, 3 toilets, showers, kitchen equipment, dishes, & Utensils. Bring your own bedding. Group of 10 or less |
Pool: $100 first hour/$75 each additional hour
(June 1 - Labor Day) Lifeguard provided. Your group provides adult supervision in ratio of 1 adult to 10 swimmers. |
Crafts Lodge: $30/Quarter
Three wings each accomodate 30 with tables & Benches for activities or breakout sessions |
Nature Cabin: $30/Quarter
Rustic cabin accommodates 50 with tables & benches for presentations or activities |
Recreation Shelter: $20/Quarter
Open Air shelter accommodates 200 for picnics, presentations, games, and dances. |
Staff/ Program Assistance: $20/Hour

Horseback Riding: $25 per person per hour
Ride on our horses or bring your own for $5/night pasture fee. Registration is required. Waiver available HERE

BLITZ Course
Half-Day Session (12 per team, 4-hours): $100/Team
Full Day Session (12 per team, 8-hours): $175/Team
Extended Session: Based on time and housing
A Team-Oriented initiatives course includes 12 ourdoor challenge events. Begin with basics and progress to more complicated activities.
Climb, Swing, Balance, Jump, & Think to solve a variety of challenges.
Available year-round (except June and July) as weather permits.
Ideal Group Size is 8-12 people over 12 years of age. Full day session includes Zip-Line over Rock Creek
Extended session includes Zip-Line.
All Equipment and Facilitator provided.
