| Therapeutic Recreation is now a part of programming at Camp Shaw. Our director is a certified therapeutic recreation specialist (CTRS) and a certified parks and recreation professional (CPRP). We host groups from local SRA's as well as a completely integrated day and resident summer camp. Therapeutic horseback riding is facilitated at our camp facility as well as at our newly opened State Park Stables facility. Horticulture therapy, outdoor living skills, weekend respites, large group games and sensory trails are all examples of therapeutic recreation programs offered at Camp Shaw.
